Dr. Shields is a board-licensed Naturopathic primary care physician who provides acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in psychology from Indiana University and earned her medical doctorate from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. In addition to the standard medical curriculum, her studies included homeopathy, medicinal herbs, clinical nutrition, alternative lab testing, pharmacology, physical medicine, hydrotherapy, and natural childbirth. Dr. Shields has received advanced training in homeopathy, craniosacral therapy, applied kinesiology, autonomic response testing, emotional freedom technique, visceral manipulation, and injection therapies.
